A superb proof printed from two blocks in black and blue, originally designed as an illustration, not used, to Canticum Canticorum, published by the Cranach Press in 1931. A fine impression printed on soft Japan paper, signed by the artist in pencil and numbered from the American edition of 12 only. Extremely rare.

Harris states, This edition........is very well printed and is perhaps the finest after the second. It should be remembered that all editions of Los Proverbios are posthumous.

Measurements are in millimeters, height precedes width. The sheet size is shown in brackets.

While condition reports are always open to interpretation we endeavour to make our descriptions as accurate as possible.

Prices are in pounds sterling and are detailed throughout the catalogue; there are no additional taxes for either British or overseas customers.
