Exceedingly rare - one of about six proofs printed on cream laid paper with the watermark, Arches, this impression with the artist's printed monogram in the lower right-hand corner of the sheet. Minor discolouration and cockling but otherwise in excellent condition with full margins.

Bevan appears to have made only three etchings, proofs of which were printed before he left Brittany in 1894. No subsequent editions were made and it is unlikely that the plates have survived.
