A superb early impression printed with carefully wiped tone on Japanese vellum; one of a very small number of proofs in the first state (of two). Signed by the artist in pencil. From the series, La Femme, presumably issued in an edition of 100 in 1887. Handling marks in lower margin, minor discolouration at sheet edges in places, but generally excellent.
